We won the Medco Case! It took almost over a year to win the fight against Medco! Grievances were filed against Medco over the "third" tier price for prescription drugs and now members are entitled to be reimbursed by the State. The arbitrator's decision requires the State to contact all employees who were denied coverage under the Preferred Drug Step Therapy (PDST). All members who were denied coverage should have been contacted by the State with the reimbursement form (see links below). The Preferred Drug Step Therapy (PDST) Prescription Drug Reimbursement Form must be filled out and returned by March 1, 2012.
